"Lo spazio cubico di Joollook costituisce una rappresentazione solida di un proprio usuale tratto artistico distintivo, espresso attraverso un intreccio di matrici astratte. L’opera è concepita attraverso un’armonia posta al di là del tempo e dello spazio. Questo reticolato concettuale vive come il caos, raggiungendo un ordine interiore solo quando prodotto dalla forza della trascendenza. Il duo artistico celebra l’idea di mondo “altro”, un mondo che non esiste, ma che l’uomo ha la necessità di creare. In questa terza dimensione è possibile una tensione alla convergenza tra intuizione e giudizio, tra forma ed interiorità. Ma qual è il nesso tra forma e interiorità? E soprattutto, dove persiste questo rapporto quasi sacro tra anima e forma? In realtà questa commistione seguita nella mente, nei suoi processi empatici a fondamento della creazione artistica, oppure nel silenzio come nei vuoti naturalmente nascenti dalla composizione/decomposizione della matrice come origine e schema. La parola cessa e subentra l’arte, originata da quel silenzio e che a quel silenzio ritorna senza limiti."

On the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Joollook participated on November 21, in Pietrasanta (Lucca, Tuscany), in the event "An act of art against violence", organized
by Amnesty International, Bambino sarai tu and Intrecciarte
Associazione culturale.
Joollook wanted to honor the female universe, imagining the woman as an entity to venerate, inviolable. As a totem. A totem in heels.
The work (shown here next), was exhibited at Intrecciarte.

SKATEBOARD ART FESTIVAL
On Friday, October 9 is the Grand Opening of the exhibition of 7Ply project 2015 at the
Thessaloniki Contemporary Art Centre
at the Port of Thessaloniki, from 18:00 to 22:00.
More than 120 artists from around the world will present their visual creations on seven-plied piece of wood, forming the board of a skateboard, which underscores the concept of the name "7Ply project"! The only rule, each artist must use the deck in his or her artistic creation...
The festival creates a platform in which artists get together from across the country and abroad, and convert skateboards into source innovation and creativity!
The 7Ply Project is a celebration of young people, who are given a platform, where artists and friends of the street culture and music, for dialogue and exchange of ideas, skate tricks and other expressions with modern means in the context of contemporary urban culture! Come celebrate together ten years 7PLY PROJECT FESTIVAL!
